Friday Find: Datter Industries

Ooh!  I really love these pieces from Datter Industries.

Illustrator Kaye Blegvad makes the sweetest, delicate, what she calls “narrative jewellery.”  She does this in her London studio.  On her website, she states that her endeavor is to “turn drawings into jewellery.”  The pieces are wax cast and, as you can see, just lovely.  She also explains her company name:  “Why Datter? It’s the Danish word for ‘daughter’. It’s part ‘data’ part ‘matter’. To me, it seems a little alchemical.”

Yes it does, my dear.  They are!

You can find these pretties on the website and at her Etsy Shop.
