I was really tickled today, when I was on Facebook and saw that someone that I haven’t even met–the mother of my sister’s friend–had tagged me in a photograph.
Well, it wasn’t exactly a photograph–it was a painting. And she wrote that it looked like *insert my name*. And, interestingly enough, it kind of does.
It is funny and amazing to think that we are all, in a sense, “out there.” Just like that–putting out an image. A story. And we never know how far that tale will travel.
I am kind of thankful for the mystery of that.
And, for the discovery of an artist that I had never heard of until now–the painter of that lovely picture: Antonio Donghi.
Leaving you with a few other of the wonderful women that this Italian artist painted in the 1920’s and 30’s. Aren’t they great?
